On March 21, 2007 at the seminar we have arranged at Ritz, Istanbul, we aimed to enlighten the subject of “Professional Indemnity Insurance” which plays an important role in the insurance sector developing rapidly and soundly in the world and in Turkey and involves our country closely especially in the harmonization process to European Union and intensely occupies the agenda of business world in recent days.

At this meeting of ours, we have exchanged ideas on subjects such as the general definition and terms of Professional Indemnity Insurance the frames of which have been specified by legal regulations came into effect very recently, its legal procedures, its worldwide procedures, and its adaptation to the terms of our country according to occupation groups.

We have found the opportunity to exchange our views with our clients and the participants from our sector at the said meeting to which Lloyd’s Broker Andrew Wallin whom we invited from London as the expert of subject and the Faculty Member of Law at Galatasaray University, Prof. Dr. A. Samim Ünan, have contributed with their experiences and knowledge.
